Meet Jennifer Hicke
Clinic Director
BSCPT, MCPA, CERT.MDT
An evidenced based treatment approach built upon scientific research is fundamental to her practice. As such Jennifer keeps up to date with current medical publications and continues to participate in postgraduate education.
Jennifer is credentialed with the McKenzie Institute International as an MDT (Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy) Practitioner.
She has many years of experience treating Orthopaedic, Sports Injuries and Post Operative patients.
The clinic and Jennifer are credentialed as a Complete Concussion Management (CCMI) treatment facility.
Concussion patients can undergo Baseline testing, Assessment and Rehabilitation of their injury. Jennifer also has training in the exercise management of Oncology patients.
Our Team

ROBYN CHEN-SANG
Robyn is a Registered Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. She received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto. Robyn has experience assessing and treating individuals across the lifespan with a variety of diagnoses in both acute and private care settings. She is also actively involved in pediatric concussion research. Robyn is passionate about empowering others to reach their greatest potential using strengths-based approaches, and client-centered care.

MARYAMSADAT DADGAR
Maryam is an international medical graduate and a Registered Chiropodist with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario. After practicing medicine for over 15 years, she continued her education in Canada and obtained a Diploma in Chiropody from the Michener Institute of Education at UHN and has been qualified to work as a foot specialist. Her extensive knowledge and experience in different clinical settings help her to diagnose and treat foot-related diseases in patients of all ages. She has expertise in patients with foot pain, corn/ callus, athlete’s foot, tendonitis, ingrown toenails, nail fungus, and plantar warts.
Diabetic and senior foot care is an important part of Maryam’s practice as maintaining good blood flow to the feet helps to resist infection and heal an injury. Non-healing wounds must be avoided by these patients.
Custom made orthotics to support and protect the muscles and joints of the feet may be required. We use only state-of-the-art Laser technology to design the Orthotics, and a computerized gait scan to assess gait and problems with ambulation.

(Joyce) Xiao Tang Wang
Joyce’s expertise is Swedish technique and deep-tissue massage, which provides successful relief to patients suffering from many conditions including shoulder, neck pain, Frozen shoulder, headaches, migraine, pregnancy, and piriformis syndrome. Joyce’s goal is to assist patients in achieving optimal wellness by relieving pain resulting from injury and life stresses. Joyce continues to expand her knowledge about nutrition and health care. Joyce loves animals and in her spare times enjoys traveling.
Paz Mukikala
Paz is a Certified Athletic Therapist and a Certified Emergency First Responder. She graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Toronto in 2014 and Bachelor of Science specialized in Athletic Therapy from The University of Winnipeg in 2018.
Paz has experience treating a diverse population such as athletes, office staff, post-operative patients, weekend warriors etc. private clinic settings. Her knowledge of manual therapy, exercises and modalities assist her in treating all patients with an end goal of returning to work, play or activities of daily living. Her experience playing various sports such as Boxing, Volleyball and weightlifting makes her no stranger to injuries and has helped her understand the rehab, process from a patient perspective.

The McKenzie Method of MDT
‘The McKenzie Method of MDT is a reliable assessment process intended for all musculoskeletal problems, including pain in the back, neck and extremities (i.e., shoulder, knee, ankle etc.), as well as issues associated with sciatica, sacroiliac joint pain, arthritis, degenerative disc disease, muscle spasms and intermittent numbness in hands or feet. If you are suffering from any such issues, then a MDT assessment may be right for you!’
