Dr. Corey Hofkirchner graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Honours Science in Kinesiology. While studying at Waterloo, he worked as a personal trainer for University Athletics and as a strength and conditioning coach for the women’s varsity volleyball team. Corey then went on to graduate Cum Laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and is currently finishing graduate studies as a Clinical Sciences Resident. Throughout his education, Corey has had unique opportunities to learn from and work collaboratively with a number of healthcare professionals including family physicians, orthopedic surgeons, and rheumatologists across the Greater Toronto Area. Corey draws from these experiences in utilizing an evidence-informed approach to chiropractic care and endorsing interprofessional and collaborative healthcare. Corey utilizes a number of techniques to provide a hands-on and functional approach to assessing and treating his patients. These include contemporary acupuncture (McMaster), Active Release Therapy (ART), and manual manipulation in addition to patient education and exercise and rehabilitation recommendations.
