Dr. Constance Kontos graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. During her clinical internship, she treated a wide variety of patients at Sherbourne Health Center, Aptus Children Center as well as the school’s campus clinic.
Dr. Kontos believes that all treatment plans should be evidence-based and individually made for each patient. Her treatment plans include a combination of manual chiropractic adjustments and mobilizations, myofascial release and other soft tissue techniques, functional integrated acupuncture, active rehabilitation, movement assessment and patient education. With her interest in sports therapy, she also provides sideline medical coverage for soccer events of the Ontario Soccer Association.
Prior to her chiropractic education, she received her Bachelor of Science, majoring in Biomedical Sciences from York University. Throughout her undergraduate studies, she played for the Women’s Varsity soccer team. She also worked as a youth soccer coach, coaching a variety of age groups, as well as a role as the Assistant Coach to the 2001 and 2002 OPDL Girls teams at Unionville-Milliken Soccer Club.
