Meagan is a Certified Athletic Therapist. She obtained a degree in Athletic Therapy with high honours from Sheridan College.
Prior to attending Sheridan College Meagan graduated with distinction from the University of Guelph-Humber receiving a degree in Kinesiology and diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion. Throughout her education she has gained valuable skills and experience working with athletes at a variety of levels and ages through internships with Toronto FC Academy and Toronto FC II as well as athletes in the OUA and OCAA.
Meagan currently serves as one of the Athletic Therapists with the Canadian National Soccer Team at the Junior Men’s level. She was a part of the medical staff for the CONCACAF Men’s Under-17 Championship (2017) and served as the lead Athletic Therapist at the CONCACAF Boys Under-15 Championship (2017). As a Certified Athletic Therapist Meagan is trained in both the assessment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries ranging from minor sprains to post-operative rehabilitation.
Meagan’s drive and passion for helping people get back to their daily lives not just pain free but stronger than when they started their rehabilitation has led to her completing a variety of continuing education courses. This has allowed her to continue growing as a Therapist and ensure that her clients get the best care possible.
